Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of Clew (“the planner”, “we”, “us”), a free student planner at this website. By using the planner, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use it.

1. What the planner does

The planner shows your Google Calendar events and Google Tasks in one weekly view and lets you add your own tasks and events. It is a small, independent project offered free of charge. It is not made by, endorsed by, or affiliated with Google, any school platform (such as Google Classroom, Canvas, Schoology, PowerSchool or Toddle), or your school.

2. Who can use it

You must be old enough to have your own Google account where you live (13 in most countries). If you are under 18, please make sure a parent or guardian is okay with you using the planner and has read these terms and the Privacy Policy.

3. Your Google account

Signing in with Google gives the planner read-only access to your calendars and task lists. The planner never creates, edits or deletes anything in your Google account. You can remove its access at any time from your Google Account permissions page. You are responsible for keeping your Google account secure.

4. Your data

What you see and add in the planner is stored in your own browser on your own device, not on our servers. Clearing your browser data, using a different browser, or choosing “Sign out and remove my data from this device” will remove it, and we cannot recover it for you. 5. Don’t rely on it alone

The planner is a convenience, not an official record. Events and assignments may be missing, late to update, or shown incorrectly, for example if a sync fails or a calendar changes. Always check deadlines with your teacher, school system or the original calendar. We are not responsible for missed assignments, practices, or other events.

6. Acceptable use

Please don’t:

  • try to break, overload, or get around the security of the planner or its contact form;
  • use the contact form to send spam, harassment, or anything unlawful;
  • copy or resell the planner as your own service.

7. Changes and availability

The planner is provided “as is” and “as available”. We may change, pause, or stop it at any time, and we don’t promise it will always be available or free of errors. We may update these terms; the date at the top shows when they last changed. If you keep using the planner after a change, you accept the new terms.

8. No warranty and limited liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, the planner comes with no warranties of any kind, and we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of it. Some places don’t allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.

9. Ending your use

You can stop using the planner at any time: sign out, choose “Sign out and remove my data from this device”, and remove its access in your Google Account. We may block access for anyone who breaks these terms.
